Not only iPhones, Apple is increasing the production of its popular goods such as airpods in India. The move is confirmed by a new report that suggests that one of the Marki suppliers of Cupertino is ready to open a second feature to strengthen the local assembly of the plastic enclosure or casing, before they are sent to make China and Vietnam in finished product.

According to a report by The Economic Times, Apple Suppliers Jabil – which is an American manufacturing company located outside Florida – is expanding its India’s footprint with a new factory to start operations soon in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The current feature of the contract maker in Pune is already producing enclosures for Apple AirPods. With the Tiruchirappalli plant, Apple looks doubled on the local assembly. The report states that Jabil is expected to finalize its plans on the matter by July, which is when we can expect to get more information about the beginning of construction, which will further give us some pictures when we can expect it to be functional.

It is reported that Apple revealed his Big India plan to offset the impact of Trump Tariff on iPhones bound for the US market. There is no immediate after impact, but CEO Tim Cook told investors and journalists during the company’s recent earning calls that the tariff company imposed by the US on China in the present state could spend an additional $ 900 million, although he did not say whether Apple would absorb the burden or pass customers.
