For those unknowns, Prithviraj and Parvati have worked together in films like Kuode, My Story and Annu Ninte Moiden.
Meanwhile, Emapuran, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, was entangled in a controversy over the depiction of scenes of the 2002 Gujarat riots. While the manufacturers edited and removed the footage of two minutes and eight seconds after the backlash, the Emperan team is still facing trouble.
In addition to Mohanlal and Prithviraj, Imapuran includes Manju Warrior, Tovino Thomas, Jerome Flynn, Suraj Venjaramudu and many others as part of the artists. It was released on 27 March.
