Officials said on Friday that the Mumbai Police is planning to regulate the entry of visitors to the Galaxy apartments, the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Bandra, after the incidents of trespasses on the campus, officials said on Friday.
The actor, who has already been threatened by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has already been awarded the Y-Plus security cover.
Earlier this week, the police arrested a man and a woman for allegedly separate overcharges in Khan’s building.
The official said that the police is thinking of regulating the entry of visitors and improving security, considering the actor’s threat to achieve dangers and reduce events.
He said that it is a private building, checking each visitor can be a challenge.
According to sources, new visitors will be required to confirm their identity from the residents of the building to obtain admission.
Police said on Thursday that they had apprehended a Jeetendra Singh and Isha Chabriya on charges of house atrocities in different incidents.
In April last year, several rounds were allegedly fired outside the Galaxy apartment by Bishnoi gang members.
Over the years, Khan has received several threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The official said that the WhatsApp helpline of the City Traffic Police had threatened Khan in the name of Bisnoi gang last month, and a forced recovery was sought.
He said that cases were registered at Worli police station regarding those dangers, and action was taken against the accused persons.
In December last year, a person was detained to enter Khan’s film shoot location and threatened his bodyguard using Lawrence Bishnoi’s name, the official said.
In the case of the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiq, the police said in their charge sheet that Siddiq was killed on the orders of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol as there was closeness with the actor.
In 2022, the actor and his father and screenwriter Salim Khan received a death letter letter, after which his security increased.
