Music Mogul Scene “Didi” Comombs will be in federal detention following the decision of a divided jury in its celebrity-stad trial.
On Wednesday, US District Judge Arun Subramanian refused to request a request of Comombs for the bond before being sentenced, citing sufficient evidence of violent behavior.
Subramanian said, “It is impossible for the defendant to display clear and concrete evidence that he is not a threat.”
According to The New York Times, “The judge proposed a punishment for October, but he indicated that he would be open to other suggestions.”
Comombs was acquitted of allegations of racketing and sex trafficking associated with another woman known as singer how Ventura and Jane. However, the jury found him guilty in two cases of transporting individuals for prostitution.
For all allegations, Comombs could face life in jail. Now he is facing a sentence of 10 years.
Emotional response in court room
After the verdict, the combs were seen praying before standing and the supporters were told, “I am going home soon,” he said, smiling and holding their hands. “I love you. Thank you, I love you.”
Despite the petition, not his in all cases, the prosecutors called him a threat to the society.
He cited Jane’s testimony, describing physical abuse and force in sexual activities, while Combs knew that he was subject to federal investigation.
The seven-week test underlined the claims that Comombs arranged cocaine-fuel group sex sessions over two decades, which they allegedly saw or recorded.
The prosecutors argued that acts formed sexual trafficking, although the gamblers clearly did not find enough evidence to connect women’s participation with criminal force.
Comombs, once a central person in modern hip-hop, still face several civil cases related to allegations of misuse.
