There are nothing more satisfying than hearing the crackling sound of the tadka in the food. This tempering of ghee or butter along with the spices takes the food from ordinary to extraordinary. Without it, something feels missing, right? While the tadka recipe is not difficult, the main problem is that the oil can spill while making it, which can easily burn your hands and leave stubborn oil stains in your kitchen. And we are sure you don’t want that. If you are hesitant to make tadka, we have a viral hack that will help you make it like a pro just like your mom. This tip will be a lifesaver for all you amateur cooks out there as well.
The video of this viral hack has been shared by Masterchef Prachi Agarkar on her Instagram page. In the video, she explains how to make tadka without any oil splatter and mess. Wondering how you can do this? Well, the magic ingredient is salt! All you need to do is sprinkle a little after heating ghee or oil in the pan. Then, add all the rest of the tempering ingredients as you normally would. She explains that the salt helps absorb excess moisture, which prevents oil splatter and burning your hands.
