Aditya Dhar completes 7 years of Uri; Vicky Kaushal is grateful for the trust in him
Vicky Kaushal thanks Aditya Dhar on completion of seven years of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. He thanked Aditya for having confidence in his abilities.

Actor Vicky Kaushal took to social media to express his gratitude as director Aditya Dhar’s Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) completed seven years. Re-sharing the ace director’s Instagram story, Vicky thanked him for the opportunity to work in the patriotic action-thriller.
Aditya’s story reads, “My first film, Uri, released that day. I had waited for that moment for a long time. My dream finally came true. The intention was clear from the beginning: to make a bold, daring film that could signal a new phase in our cinema. He further added, “7 years of Uri The Surgical Strike…I remind myself again and again to never forget where it all began. The beginning keeps you grounded and hungry. Filmmaking is a tough, unforgiving journey, full of doubts and long nights. But when the audience comes and accepts your work, every struggle suddenly makes sense. That feeling makes it worth it.”

Sharing the post on her Instagram story, Vicky captioned it, “January 11, 2019. @adityadharfilms changed my life forever. Forever grateful to @adityadharfilms for believing in me… to @ronnie.screwvala @soniyeh22 for making it all happen and to the audience for celebrating it the same way. #URI will always be super super special for a million reasons.”
Aditya’s latest spy-thriller, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh in the role of undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazari. The film also brings together a formidable cast: R Madhavan as Indian spy master Ajay Sanyal, Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam, Akshaye Khanna as real-life gangster Rehman Dacoit, and Arjun Rampal as ISI Major Iqbal, who is inspired by terrorist Ilyas Kashmiri.
Actress Sara Arjun also debuted with Ranveer in this film. Actors Rakesh Bedi, Manav Gohil, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor, Raj Zutshi, Saumya Tandon and others are in lead roles.
