When people see Nandamuri Balakrishna today, they look at the actor’s massive commercial side, who are known for their over-the-top scenes and macho dialogues. But in the 80s and 90s, when Balakrishna was very young, he used a variety of roles, a wonderful attempt Aditya 369.
Nearly 34 years after its original dramatic release, Balkrishna’s science-fi movie Aditya 369 is fully prepared for its re-reliefs. The film’s producer was taken to X (East Twitter) to share the news.

He wrote in his tweet, “The first Vigyan-Fi of Indian cinema, Aditya 369 to bring back 4K on a big screen. This summer traveled back on time to see the timeless classic of NBK in theaters. However, in his tweet, there is no mention of the official release date.
Aditya 369 is the epic of a Telugu language, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Mohini, Tarun Kumar, Amrit Puri, Tinu Anand and many other lead roles. The film was written and directed by famous filmmaker Singham Srinivasa Rao.
Sridevi films produced the then Mammoth project, while Ilaiyaraja composed the film’s original soundtrack and background score.
Aditya was the first science-fi film to be produced in 369 Indian cinema and was also the first-time-journey film in Indian cinema. The film follows the story of an absent -minded professor who inventions a time machine. Krishna, Hema and the king go to all lengths to buy time machines for their own reasons.
Aditya 369 was not a major success at the box office, but still ended as a successful venture for all parties involved. However, Balakrishna’s earlier commercial potbiles improved the collection of Aditya 369, which also inspired Balakrishna to select more commercial themes in the future.
Balakrishna was last seen in the film Daku Maharaj, which was also recently released on Netflix. The film, despite many of its praise, received a flex for his portrayal in the song ‘Dabidi Dibidi’, especially to portray the character of Urvashi Rautela.
Balakrishna is allegedly going to work with Boyapati Srinu for the sequel to the arena.
