Actor Aditi Rao Hydari received widespread praise for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s performance in Netflix series Hairmandi. In the series, his Gajgamini’s visit went viral on social media. However, praise did not translate to new work opportunities for Aditi.

“After Hiramandi, the way everyone moved forward, and how it loved it, I thought that now it is going to be a bouch (shower) of interesting stuff and then cut … I am liking, ‘What is going on?’ It was really like a drought, “Aditi told his friend, choreographer-Filmekar Farah Khan during an episode of Farah’s Vlog.

Aditi Rao Hydari married actor Siddharth in September last year after the release of Hiramandi in May 2024.

The actor agreed to the first Zest, but later clarified, “No, seriously, we had to exclude it so that we could return from work, get married, and then come back to work. But the marriage was very funny.”

In Hiramandi, Aditi has played the role of Bibbo Jaan, a soft-desired woman yet, whose aspirations are beyond the boundaries of Hiramandi. The show also includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sharmi Segal, Pardin Khan and Sanjida Sheikh.

Today in an earlier interview with India Today, Aditi described Bibo Jaan playing A free experience.

He said, “The way I see or the way I am or in the parts I played, usually delicate, feminine, beautiful girl. Or, ‘Oh, she is like a glass, if you touch it, it will break.’ Today, I am the owner of it, and I am what I am.

Hiramandi is currently streaming on Netflix.
