Actor Adil Hussain, who has worked with Sridevi in ​​’English Vinglish’ and her daughter Janhvi Kapoor in ‘Uljhan’, pointed out the similarities between the two. Adil also recalled meeting Janhvi on the sets of ‘English Vinglish’ when she was just 14 years old.

Adil Hussain has praised Janhvi Kapoor’s work ethic and called her ‘focused and honest’ just like her mother Sridevi. When I say that, I mean that one is constantly aware of what is happening in the scene, knows one’s lines, and is listening to the director very carefully. Being aware of oneself and respecting the director and co-actors is something I have seen in Sridevi ji and Janhvi as well.”

Aadil also recalled meeting 14-year-old Janhvi on the sets of Gauri Shinde’s film. He said, “13 years ago when we were shooting for ‘English Vinglish’, Janhvi was a regular on the sets, so I saw her when she was 14. I think she must have observed her mother’s work very closely because I see the same kind of dedication in her work now.”

Adil and Janhvi are co-stars in ‘Uljhan’. In the film, Janhvi plays Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, who undertakes a challenging mission at the London embassy under tight surveillance.
