Directing Ajit Kumar’s next film, AK64, the discussion around Adhik Ravichandran had been rounding for some time. The actor-director pair recently gave a good bad ugly at the box office in 2025, which was a large-scale successful and a high-earning commercial entertainer. And now, the filmmaker has once again broken his silence when he cooperated with the actor.

Adhik Ravichandran confirms AK 64

During a recent press bite, filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran finally confirmed AK64 with Ajit Kumar. Speaking a yes on his cooperation for the second time, he also launched on whether this upcoming project would be like a good bad ugly.

In his words, “Yes, I am doing the next film with Ajit Kumar sir. I am very happy that I got a chance for AK64. This good bed will be a different kind of film from ugly and a cure for fans.”

Ajit Kumar made beans on starting his next project

After two back-to-back hits with a series of achievements on Vidamuirchi and Good Bed Ugly and Racing Front, all eyes are on Ajit Kumar’s next film.

In a previous interview with The Indian Express, the actor confirmed that his next project was on the card and even mentioned when he would start shooting for the same.

He said, “If I can squeeze in a film between November to February period, I will have a film release every year, and I can also focus on my racing program. I will start doing a new project film in November this year, which is expected to release some time around April or May 2026.”

When Ajit Kumar talked about making a race film in India

Recently, with fans with love for the racing film F1, Ajit Kumar talked about the possibility of making such a film in India.

In addition, he further said that if he would, as an actor-resper, would wish to be a part of it or even as a major actor.

According to a post by Lakshmi Kantha, the inner source of the industry on X, the actor reflected, “I think perhaps a sharp and fierce film or F1. I usually perform my own stunt in a film, so, yes, perhaps a sharp and fierce sequel … or F1 on F1.”
