Adele announces ‘long break’ from music: I just need to rest
British singer Adele has recently announced that she wants to take a long break from music. The artist said that she wants to focus on her personal life.
British singer Adele recently announced that she will be taking a long break from music after completing her Las Vegas residency this November.
The singer recently finished her concerts in Munich, where she reportedly told the crowd, “I still have exactly five weeks of shows ahead of me. But after that, I won’t see you for an incredibly long time. And I will treasure you in my heart during the entire duration of my break. And I will fantasize about these shows and any other shows I’ve done in the last three years.”
“I’m not the most spontaneous performer, I know that, but I’m very good at this. And I’ve thoroughly enjoyed performing for the last three years, which is the longest I’ve ever performed and will probably be the longest I’ve ever performed. It’s been amazing. I just need to rest. I’ve spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now,” she said.
Adele has a son named Angelo (11), and is engaged to sports agent Rich Paul.
