Popular television actress Shama Sikander, who is known for her roles in shows like Yeh Meri Life Hai, recently revealed an uncomfortable experience she had during an ad shoot. She revealed that a leading actor unexpectedly hugged her while working, which made her feel uncomfortable. Given the actor’s inappropriate behaviour, Sikander shared that she would avoid collaborating with him in the future.

When asked about the ad shoot, Shama Sikander told Bollywood Bubble She said that ‘hugging me initially was not a part of the shoot’. She revealed that the superstar ‘wanted to hug me for some reason’. Shama said, “You know what vibe some people have, so when he was shooting with me, he did something like this, and he said he would make his wife wear jewellery. Then I would turn around and hug him. So when he tried to hug me, I felt uncomfortable with it. I have never felt like this before.”

She further added, “I have worked with a lot of people, I have many male friends, and they never made me feel like this. It was very shocking and weird for me. I said that the man was a superstar. Why did he have to do such a stunt? It was a very shocking incident in my life. I met that person for the first time, and his attitude was something that did not seem normal. I myself will never work with him in my life (I will never work with him in my life).”

During the same interview, Shama Sikander was asked about casting couch in Bollywood. She mentioned an incident when she was preparing for the shooting of a big film, which included her makeup, when suddenly she was told that the shooting has been cancelled. She told that she was working with a big actor, who did not come for the shooting.

Shama further revealed that when she was leaving the set, the director told her that her role had been recast. The actress expressed her shock and disappointment and said that she cried all night. Shama revealed that such cases are common in the film industry when actors are suddenly removed from projects.

Shama Sikander is known for her lead roles in TV shows like Yeh Meri Life Hai, CID, Batliwala House No. 43, Kaajal, Seven, Baalveer and Mann Mein Hai Vishwas. She has also worked in web shows like Sexaholic and the mini-series Maya: Slave of Her Desires.
