Actress Daljeet Kaur has received a stay order from a court in Kenya’s Nairobi city against her ex-husband Nikhil Patel. According to reports, court documents reveal that the order was issued to prevent Patel from evicting Kaur and their child from their marital home in Kenya.

This court order comes amid the ongoing legal battle between Daljeet and Nikhil following allegations of extramarital affair. According to the document received Hindustan TimesThe legal notice was issued by the Milimani Court in Kenya’s Nairobi city on June 11. It said, “Pending the hearing and final determination of this application, an injunction is hereby issued restraining the respondent (Patel), his agents, employees and/or servants from evicting and/or throwing out the petitioner/applicant (Kaur) and her child (Jaden) and/or from dealing in any manner with the personal effects and goods of the petitioner/applicant at her matrimonial home (in Kenya).”

The next hearing of the case is scheduled for June 28.

Daljeet has accused her husband Nikhil Patel of having an extramarital affair. The Kenya-based businessman has confirmed the separation in an official statement.

Earlier, Nikhil Patel had sent a legal notice to Kaur following her recent post on Instagram in which he accused her of having an extramarital affair.

According to the report, Daljeet Kaur’s social media posts accusing her husband of having an extramarital affair are legally questionable under the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012. According to Nikhil, these posts can lead to civil and criminal proceedings against her.
