Actress Amrita Puri spoke to IndiaToday.in about her role in Netflix’s ‘IC 814 – The Kandahar Hijack’. She said she had complete faith in director Anubhav Sinha.

Amrita Puri, who played a key role in ‘IC 814 – The Kandahar Hijack’, spoke to IndiaToday.in about working on the Netflix series. The actress said that she trusted director Anubhav Sinha a lot as he knew his work well. Puri also spoke on her terms while choosing the role.
Amrita Puri spoke to us exclusively about working on the show. She said, “For me, it’s all about content. I now want to be a part of projects where I feel valued and add value to the script. These two criteria are definitely unacceptable to me as I no longer want to be a part of projects that don’t fulfil these two things. I have realised over time that it’s not just about the script being good, you also want to work with good people.”
Amrita further added, “I had a lot of conversations with Anubhav (Sinha) because I have not put in the kind of time and research he has put into this project. I have a lot of faith and trust in my director and scriptwriters. My job was to stay true to the character and role that I was playing. As long as I know it is not going off track or becoming non-factual; my main job was just to trust Anubhav because he is very good at his job and knows very well what he is doing.”
