Actor Vikrant Massey, who has been signing projects left, right and center after the massive success of 12th Fail, will next be seen in the romantic drama, Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan. Actor Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor will debut with this film.

The film team shared this news through social media on Sunday.

According to reports, the shooting of the film directed by Santosh Singh has started. The film is being produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla and written by Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla. The music will be composed by Vishal Mishra.

Talking about the project, Vikrant Massey told Pinkvilla in a statement, “Playing a lover boy is an exciting challenge, and the scale of the eye-rolling gusto feels truly grand. It strikes me as a romantic lead. Mansi’s faith has been constant, and together, we’re creating something special. I thank Mansi and Varun Bagla for this incredible opportunity and it’s been creatively gratifying to work with Santosh Singh again, and I’m really excited and looking forward to working with Shanaya in her first film.”

Shanaya also shared her excitement about it and gave insight about her character, “It is very exciting for me to share the screen with Vikrant in such a heartfelt and original story. My character is very close to my heart – she is strong, It’s emotional and I’m grateful for this opportunity. I want to thank Santosh for guiding me every step of the way, and I look forward to working with the dynamic and involved producers Mansi and Varun Bagla. The film is apparently based on a short story by acclaimed author Ruskin Bond.
