Kannada actor Shiv Rajkumar was invited as a special guest for the audio launch of ‘Thug Life’ at Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai. The actor opened the event by calling himself a great fan of Kamal Haasan. He dedicated a sweet Tamil song to the actor ‘Vishwaurupam’.

Shiv Rajkumar got down from stage and hugged Kamal Haasan Just after his entry. He declared himself a fan and said, “I like his smile, I like his eyes, I like his personality. I like everything about him. I always hold his films in the first show on the first day.”

The ‘Mufti’ actor met Hassan at his home in Bangalore. “I remember that he was visiting my house and my father, Dr. Rajkumar was talking to Rajkumar at our house in Bengaluru. At that time, he asked my father who was I. My father introduced me, and I requested him to hug him. I did not take a bath for three days. I was feeling that I would tell you about the good things.” Shiva Rajkumar said.

He also talked about how Kamal Haasan called him after performing cancer surgery in America. “I still remember, I was in Miami in December 2024, where I received my surgery. Kamal Sir was in Chicago and I got a call from him. I am very happy to talk to him. After the conversation, he said, ‘You don’t know Shivanna, I do tears in my eyes after talking to you.

As soon as he wrapped his speech, Shiva Rajkumar sang a few lines of Kamal Haasan’s iconic ‘Iral Naal Uni Nan’ from ‘Imai Onjal Audukiratu’.
