Actor Samantha throws water on Raj Nidimoru during Holi celebrations on film set
Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu celebrated Holi by spraying water on Raj Nidimoru and Nandini Reddy on the sets of Maa Inti Bangaram. His film is all set to release in May 2026.

Actor-producer Samantha Ruth Prabhu brought the Holi festivities on the sets of her upcoming film. The Holi celebration featured Samantha using a Pichkari to sprinkle water, to which water balloons were released in response to which the fun atmosphere quickly escalated. Raj Nidimoru and director BV Nandini Reddy, who highlighted the close camaraderie and energetic feeling present on the set during the shooting of the film.
In the video she posted, Samantha congratulated the fans and the team of the film and captioned it, “From the sets of DishkiyaoonHappy Holi Bangaralu #MaaantiBangaaram #MiBonmay15th (sic)”, linking the festive spirit with her ongoing involvement in the production.

Ahead of the release, the makers had released a first-look poster in January, in which Samantha was seen standing with a determined expression inside a bus in a simple brown saree. She captioned the picture, “Just keep watching #MaaIntiBngaaram will keep connecting with you all,” hinting at the emotional and interesting story.
Discussing her role and experience, Samantha gave insight into the story of the film, saying, “Mother Inti Bangaram Tells the story of a woman whose strength comes from her courage as well as her weakness. Playing this character and developing this film as a producer has been an incredibly gratifying journey for me.”
Elaborating on the style and intent of the film, Samantha said, “The world of this film is rooted and emotional with a narrative style that is dedicated to family being first and foremost part of life, while retaining its quirky, edgy energy.
