Telugu actor Raj Tarun has been accused of fraud by his partner and actress Lavanya. Lavanya has claimed in her police complaint that she had secretly married the actor and they were in a relationship for a decade. Raj Tarun has termed the allegations of fraud and secret marriage as baseless.

Lavanya also alleged that Tarun had started distancing himself from her after she began a new relationship with a Mumbai-based actor.

Lavanya claimed that Tarun did not publicly accept their relationship and is now having an affair with someone he is working with. She alleged that Tarun and she had earlier got married in a secret ceremony in a temple and Raj Tarun had said that their marriage would soon become legal. However, that did not happen.

Meanwhile, Raj Tarun spoke to the local media and called the allegations completely baseless. Speaking to Telugu media, Tarun said that he and Lavanya were together for ten years, but they are now separated: “It was shocking and disappointing to hear false allegations against me. We were in a relationship for 10 years, and we decided to separate as per mutual understanding. I never cheated or misled her,” he told the media.

The actor also said that Lavanya was once involved in a drug case, but she never told him about the case until now. On the other hand, Lavanya said in her complaint that she had spent 45 days in police custody in the same case, but Raj Tarun did not support her in this difficult time.

Tarun also told the media that he will file a complaint soon.

Raj Tarun is known for working in films like ‘Uyyala Jampala’ and ‘Kumari 21F’. The actor was last seen in ‘Naa Saamy Ranga’, where he shared screen space with Nagarjuna.
