Bengali actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay and his wife, mental health activist and singer Piya Chakraborty have announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared joyful news at Valentine’s Day Post on Sunday.

With a series of paintings with his pet cat and dog characteristic, a sign that “Baby on the Way” read, the couple wrote:

“Valentine’s party was a while … We were busy with it:
1. This is us
2. This is our biggest, Nina
3. Then came Baga last year
4. The bubble of our love is growing: A human will soon join the tribe! #2025 #Babycomingsoon “

Parambrata Chatopadhyay and Piya Chakraborty married in an intimate ceremony on November 27, 2023, at the actor’s Kolkata residence, surrounded by close friends and family. The couple opted for a simple legal marriage. Sharing their wedding photos, Parambrata quoted TS Eliot as saying, “Let us know then, you and me, when the evening is spread against the sky.” He said, “This is the case.”
