Actor Mithun Chakraborty’s ex-wife Helen Luke passes away in America
Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s ex-wife Helen Luke passed away in the US on November 3. The actor was best known for his role in Amitabh Bachchan’s film Mard.
Actor Helena Luke, who was Mithun Chakraborty’s first wife, died on Sunday, November 3 in the US. The cause of his death is currently unknown. Helena gained wide recognition for her role in Amitabh Bachchan’s 1985 film Mard, where she played a British queen. She was married to Mithun Chakraborty just four months before their marriage ended.
The news of his demise was confirmed by famous dancer and actor Kapana Iyer on social media.
His last Facebook post was made at 9:20 am on Sunday, where he wrote, “Feeling strange. Mixed emotions and don’t know why, uncombined (sic).”
According to media reports, Helena was not well and had not consulted a doctor. After living in the US for several years, she also worked for Delta Airlines and became known for her roles in films such as Do Gulab (1983), Aao Pyar Karein (1983), and Bhai Akhir Bhai Hota Hai (1982).
