In a statement released on social media, Aarti Ravi, wife of actor Jayam Ravi, has addressed the ongoing public commentary surrounding her personal life, emphasizing her commitment to dignity and silence in the face of investigation.

Aarti, who has been in the news due to her divorce from actor Jayam Ravi, clarified that her silence should not be interpreted as weakness or guilt. “In light of the ongoing public comments surrounding my personal life, I find it important to emphasize that my silence is not a sign of weakness or guilt. I have tried to remain dignified and counter those who try to portray me in a bad light. “Have decided not to respond. Hide the truth, but I have faith in the legal system to get me justice,” she said.

The statement referred to a previous public announcement allegedly made by mutual consent, which Arti claimed was a setback. He reiterated that his initial response was misinterpreted and clarified that it was not related to the ongoing ex-parte divorce proceedings.

Aarti expressed her desire to have a private conversation on the matter, but claims this has been declined. He said, “It is unfortunate that my words were misinterpreted. I still hope for a personal conversation on this matter, which has been denied till date.”

Aarti said, “I deeply respect the sanctity of marriage and will not indulge in any public discussion that might harm anyone’s reputation.” He concluded, “My focus is on the well-being of our family, and I trust in God’s grace to guide me.”

Earlier this month, Jayam Ravi had announced his separation from Aarti in a social media post. However, in another post, his wife claimed he made the announcement “without her consent”, leading to a separation battle.
