Actor Govinda faints at home, admitted to hospital
Actor Govinda was admitted to the hospital after he fainted at his home on Tuesday night. His lawyer and friend said that he is now stable and all the necessary tests have been completed.
Actor Govinda was taken to hospital after he fainted at his residence late on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at his home, prompting immediate medical attention. According to his lawyer and friend, Lalit Bindal, the actor was experiencing persistent discomfort before he was taken to the emergency department.
Sharing an update on Govinda’s condition, Bindal told India Today, “He was feeling disoriented. All tests have been done, and now we are waiting for the report and opinion of the neuro consultation. He is stable now.”
The medical staff conducted a complete evaluation and the actor’s current condition is said to be stable. Doctors are now awaiting the results of neurological consultation to guide further care. No further complications have occurred since admission.
Just a year before Govinda was admitted to the hospital, there had been an incident in which he was shot in the leg. The accident took place in October last year when the actor was handling his licensed revolver.
At that time, Govinda was preparing to leave for a show in Kolkata early in the morning. Recalling the incident after being released from the hospital, he said, “I was going to a show in Kolkata and it was around 5 in the morning… She fell and walked… I was stunned and then I saw a fountain of blood coming out.”
After the gun accident, Govinda’s doctors accompanied him to Criticare Hospital near his Juhu residence, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit due to a wound below the knee. The bullet was removed after an operation that lasted for an hour.
According to his manager, “Govinda was keeping his licensed revolver inside the cupboard when his weapon fell and a bullet was fired.” The incident resulted in the actor requiring immediate medical intervention.
After treatment and recovery from last year’s injury, Govinda resumed his professional activities. His recent hospital admission has raised concern among fans and colleagues, but his representatives have confirmed that he is receiving proper care as doctors await further test results.
