Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had announced Spirit starring Prabhas in the lead last year. The project marks the pair’s first collaboration.
In a throwback interview with Galata Plus, Sandeep Reddy Vanga mentioned that the budget of Spirit was Rs 300 crore. He expressed confidence in the film and said that it will earn Rs 150 crore in theaters on the first day.
Talking about this he said, “I think the kind of budget they are putting in, I think the producers are safe. With the combination of Prabhas and me, with the satellite and digital rights, we can recover our budget right there. If everything goes well then with the teaser, trailer and song pre-release and whatever we do to grab the attention of the audience, the opening day will be Rs 150 crore, be it worldwide or pan India.
The release date of Spirit has not been announced yet.
