Kannada actor Darshan’s son Vineesh took on trolls in a post on Instagram after his father’s arrest on June 11. Darshan, along with his wife Pavitra Gowda, was arrested by the Bengaluru police on June 11 in an alleged murder case and will remain in custody till June 17.
Following the arrest, Darshan’s son Vineesh raised the issue on Instagram Stories and slammed trolls who have been targeting the family.
Vinish criticised the trolls who made negative comments against his father and used offensive language. He also stressed that they failed to take his young age into account.
He wrote, “Thank you all for all the bad comments and offensive language towards my father and not considering that I am a 15 year old kid and I have feelings too, and even during this difficult time when my parents needed support, cursing me will not change you all.”
Darshan and his wife were picked up from their farmhouse in Mysore and brought back to Bengaluru for questioning. The victim, Renuka Swamy, aged 33, was found dead on the Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru. She worked at the Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga and had allegedly sent abusive messages to Darshan’s wife.
Three men have confessed to the murder and said they committed the crime on the instructions of actor Darshan.
Investigation is underway to find out whether the actor was directly involved in the murder or was part of a conspiracy.
