Actor Dali Dhananjay gives a befitting reply to trollers, says ‘don’t teach me Kannada’
Kannada actor Dali Dhananjay recently faced criticism after sharing the Telugu version of Pushpa 2: The Rule trailer instead of the Kannada version. The actor responded to these comments during an interview.
Kannada actor and producer Dali Dhananjay recently responded to criticism over his social media activity while promoting his latest multilingual film, Zebra. Dhananjay, who rose to fame across the country with his role as Jaali Reddy in Pushpa: The Rise, has been making a name for himself in Telugu and Tamil cinema along with his Kannada ventures. After facing criticism for sharing the Telugu trailer of Pushpa 2: The Rule on his Instagram handle, the actor reacted to it.
During a promotional event in Bengaluru, Dhananjay addressed the reaction and clarified, “I shared the Telugu trailer because it was the first link I received. Despite this, people criticized me for not sharing the Kannada version. This was brought to my notice by my friends.”
He said that he actively promotes Kannada content, including the Kannada-dubbed version of his upcoming film Zebra. “I would like to bring to their attention that I am sharing the content about the Kannada dubbed version of my next film in Telugu, Zebra. Our own team has done a tremendous job dubbing ‘Zebra’ in Kannada,” he said, adding that people should focus on the work that is being done instead of commenting on small things.
Concluding his remarks, Dhananjay emphasized that criticism should be constructive. “There is no need to teach me Kannada. I’m a really good student, and I’m willing to learn, but only if the points raised are valid. Watching good films and supporting meaningful content is much more impactful than passing unnecessary comments,” he said.
