Chhavi Mittal is one of the actors who have opened about the treatment of their breast cancer. He recently shared how he and his family faced his diagnosis and also talked about a conversation with filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, who has also treated for breast cancer.

Speaking about his diagnosis and treatment at the podcast of Shardul Pandit, Chhavi said, “I called the first person through Tahira Kashyap. The next day there was a long conversation with him. He helped me to put a lot of confidence on me.” Chhavi said that Tahira’s advice is how to go through it and what to expect was to give him a lot of clarity.

He added, “The doctor refused to say if I have cancer and is saying that it would be fine. I hurt him to tell him. I had a script statement to participate and told him that I would come back to her. Then I used to go home. I used to ask my husband to get beer, and broke the news. He was in my hands. I was in my hands. Are. ,

Chhavi was detected in April 2022 in the early stage breast cancer. On 26 April 2022, he was declared a six-hour surgery for cancer-free post. Reacting to the same, Chhavi wrote on social media, “When the anesthesiologist asked me to close my eyes and think about doing something good, I saw my beautiful breasts completely healthy and then I went down. The next thing that I know, I woke up!”

Taking three years after his surgery, Chhavi recently shared a video of Montaz, characterized by a few moments from his time and his recovery journey in the hospital. In the caption, he wrote, “3 years. And it sounds like a lifetime. Life, feeling, fighting, ups and downs, I am so proud. It was so proud. It was not easy. It’s not easy. But until I and my purity, I have got it. I have received 3 birthday!”

Chhavi has acted in films like ‘KaiC Kahin’ (2007), ‘Ek Viva Aisa Bhii’ (2008) and ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Sasat’ (2009). He has also shown in television shows like ‘Naagin’ (2007-2008), ‘SSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH’ (2008) and ‘Laal Ishq’ (2018).
