Hollywood actor Armie Hammer, who recently moved back to Los Angeles, has revealed that he is selling his beloved truck due to rising fuel prices. In an Instagram video, Hammer shared that he recently moved to Los Angeles and took his beloved truck on one last road trip to CarMax.

Armie began the video by saying, “I’ve been back in L.A. for the last couple of weeks. This is my truck. I bought it as a Christmas gift to myself in 2017, because I’ve owned pickup trucks for a long time, and I love this truck,” the Disgraced actor said of the black vehicle, which can be seen parked in a CarMax parking lot.

He said, “This isn’t a CarMax ad. It’s because I’m selling my truck.”

Explaining the reason, the ‘Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ actor said, “Since I’ve been back in L.A., I’ve put about four or five hundred dollars worth of fuel into it, and I can’t afford it. I can’t buy fuel anymore. But you know what? It’s OK. I got a new car. It’s small. It’s a hybrid. I probably put about $10 a month worth of fuel into it, and that’s it.”

Armie Hammer, best known for his roles in films such as ‘The Social Network’, ‘Call Me by Your Name’ and ‘Lone Ranger’, has been away from the spotlight in recent years. His career took a significant hit after allegations of abuse, inappropriate behaviour, cannibalism surfaced in 2021. These allegations led to the cancellation of several projects, including the film ‘The Offer’ in which he was supposed to play Al Pacino’s role – a role that later went to ‘Whiplash’ actor Miles Teller. As a result, Hammer has been unable to secure new roles and has largely withdrawn from public life.
