Speaking to India, especially today, Dutta shared that his decision to speak about his pregnancy was to normalize the process and provide hope to women facing similar challenges.
Interestingly, his pregnancy journey began as he was ready for Seema 2, and ended as a filming. “The timeline is surprising. I think the child will have no choice but to be a film,” he laughs.
Opening his decision to talk about IVF through social media, Nisa Dutta said that it has been a long four -year journey for him. “When the word TTC came, I was many other women, as many other women. It means ‘is trying to conceive’, and every parents are struggling with infertility, waiting through adoption or surrogacy, comes under the umbrella. I have never planned to share my experience.

Dutta admitted that when she had a wonderful partner and family, to support her, a woman alone has to go through a difficult time. “Your hormones are all over the place, you have to take injections, what you are feeling cannot be kept in words. There are many women, especially in small cities, going through it. I know that about women who were not allowed to talk about it, because their in -laws felt that their in -laws felt that I think I also see that I think I think about IVF. Are, who give a delay to the technology.
Dutta also talked about working on the set while getting pregnant and surprised the artists when she finally shared the news. He recalled actor Varun Dhawan that day with the director of the film. She said that she and the director were not ready to believe that she was expecting, seeing how active she was.
“We were shooting at an army base, and I was in full action mode, while my husband’s heart was in her mouth. I think as women, we understand your body. You have to be alert from your diet.
The filmmaker also touched the sensitive subject of a child’s will, saying that it should also be part of open discussions. “I got married in March 2021 and imagined naturally in May. I soon miscarried, and physically more, it left a very poor mental trauma. 6-7 weeks for them were so exciting for us as a couple that we realized that we wanted a child. Then the journey started – IVI and IVF. The media makes me feel like.
On a final note, we asked her what kind of world she is expecting to give her child. “Honestly, I keep telling my mother that since it was very difficult to reach this point, so my focus was on it, and I did not think beyond. I would take every step as it comes. But like every parent, like every parent, you want to expect for the best. Without any war, Kovid has also decided to come back, so it’s not,” not with a smile.
Nidhi Dutta’s border is slapped for release on 2 23 January 2026.
