Wani Kapoor and Fawad Khan will soon share screen space in the upcoming romantic film Abir Gulal. Campaign assets have already begun to roll, making fans more excited. In front of the release of the film, the two stars talked about their experience of working together.
On Monday, April 21, the makers of Abir Gulal hosted a grand music launch event in Dubai. Wani Kapoor and Fawad Khan, while interacting with their fans and followers, hosted a light Instagram Live. When asked about her experience of working in the film, the actress called herself lucky that it got a chance to work.
She said, “I became lucky. What can I just say? I was lucky with the film, with a great co-actor.” According to Wani, his on-screen chemistry felt biological because his level of energy and frequency was similar to his character, Gulal, and he was with Fawad Khan; He further claimed, did not make sure whether she was Abir or look at it easily.
“I felt that it doesn’t feel forced at all, as I really enjoyed it, and he has some patience to take my bail*tea because I do a lot of champa chapad, so he is good with listening. He is a good listener,” he said further, while AE Dil Hai Mukkil actor agreed to him, he was listening to him at that time.
Wani also mentioned that she would like to work with Khan again, as she is easy and has no ego or trouble. When he asked Fawd to describe that he was like working with him, the Pakistani actor also called it ‘amazing’. In response to this, the RAID 2 actress ficklely stated that she tolerated Khan, left her in stitches.
He said, “Abhi Toh Main Jhut Hi Bolunga (now, I will lie) (laughing). This is a complete pleasure. You are a very good person, a person’s gem.”
Since the announcement of the film, Abir Gulal has been subjected to significant criticism, many political leaders demanded a ban on its release as it has shown Fawad Khan, which is from Pakistan.
Directed by Aarti Ke Bagdi, Abir Gulal is set to release on May 9, 2025.
