Actor Riddhi Dogra postponed the release of his film ‘Abir Gulal’ in India. Speaking to the Paparz account, the 40 -year -old called the decision “Beyond As”. The film under consideration is facing investigation from Indian audiences and film bodies to cooperate with Pakistani actor Favad Khan.

Khan is associated with Vani Kapoor in a romantic drama, while Dogra plays another important role. The trailer and other promos of the film started moving on social media earlier this year. However, the manufacturers announced that it was postponed after the barbaric Pahgam attack on 22 April, which has been claimed 26 lives, mostly tourists, including a foreign national.

Talking to Varinder Chawla, Dogra said, “I think these things are beyond us and I think I am standing with my country, so it is most important.”

Earlier, when he was asked about acting in a film by a Pakistani actor amidst Indo-Pak tension, he said that he had to investigate ‘government rules’ about the same before saying yes to the film.

He later posted on social media, expressed his stand on being called ‘dual-face’ for his choice. Dogra wrote, “I did it when my government allowed it. And I am standing with laws and rules … but I also know that peace, grace and harmony are important for a healthy civilization. Yes there is duality in words, but it is very life that we lead.”

On Thursday, the government issued a recent instruction, asking OTT platforms to remove all Pakistani materials including series and films.

Meanwhile, Fawad Khan, known for its performance in Indian films, condemned India’s accurate strike against terrorist centers in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir.

On Thursday night, Pakistan launched a series of missile drone attacks targeting several border areas in Jammu, Rajasthan and Punjab. All the incoming threats were successfully thwarted by the Indian defense forces, which prevented mass loss and loss of life.
