Filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who directed Shah Rukh Khan in Zero, recently shared his experience of working with the Pathan actor, which included some details about his food preferences. In a discussion with Mukesh Chhabra on Mashable India, Aanand revealed that the superstar can live on tandoori chicken, coffee and a drink, “but if something is served with love, he will eat anything”.
During the interview, Anand was shown a picture of him chatting with Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of Zero. Explaining the picture, Anand said that although they were engaged in a serious discussion, they were actually talking about their plans for the evening after the shoot.
Giving some insight into SRK’s food preferences, he said that SRK can survive indefinitely on tandoori chicken, coffee and one of his beverages. However, he also said that if a dish is served with love, SRK can eat anything.
In another recent interview with The Guardian, Shah Rukh revealed how he spent his time during the pandemic. He revealed that due to limited activities, he had urged others to learn Italian cooking and stay fit. He mentioned following his own advice by focusing on exercise to strengthen his body.
The Jawaan actor also revealed that he usually eats only once a day, this is not a part of intermittent fasting but it is a personal choice. Apart from this, he revealed that he spends about half an hour in the gym every day.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to appear in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming action-packed thriller, King, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The film centres around the intense journey of a guru and his disciple, as they push their survival abilities to the limit amid various obstacles. The title, King, suits the theme of the story, as Shah Rukh’s character is depicted as the “king of the world… the underworld” in this gripping plot.
Pinkvilla recently revealed that the shooting of King will begin in Mumbai from January 2025, with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan leading the project. The initial schedule will take place in Mumbai, followed by an extended shooting phase in Europe.
