Actor Aamir Khan recently addressed fans’ reactions in a sports betting app advertisement. The actor clarified that his professional decisions are influenced by the quality of the script in the brand endorsement.
Aamir, in an interview, defending artistic freedom to support legal products, in an interview Zoom Said, “I have denied alcohol and tobacco. Recently, I have dreamed 11, so people asked me that you are doing Dream 11, you refused alcohol, tobacco.”
“But the script was very good for Dream 11. I couldn’t say it,” he said.
The actor further said, “I laughed a lot after reading that advertisement. I was certain that I wanted to do it. For the product, if it is illegal then we will not advertise it. And if it is legal, let me do it too.”
The ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ actor reflected his association with the brands and how he only makes an exception to his principles if he sees creativity in thought. The actor said, “I always check that the product is giving what he has promised”
“Sometimes, I break my principle. For example, I never announce the price of the product I am supporting because I am not a salesman. I am a brand ambassador. I can talk about your brand, but not about its price,” Aamir said.
He added, “Once, I broke the rule and talked about the value. It was during the ‘Chhota Coke’ for 5 rupees because I really liked its story. It was so creative that I compromised.”
Aamir will be seen in his house-production ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’, directed by RS Prasanna. The film is a remake of the Spanish Sports-Drama ‘Champions’ (2018).
The actor recently confirmed his cameo in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming Tamil Action-Drama ‘Cooli’.
He also referred to his single project with Kanagaraja, which will be shot after ‘Kathy 2’.
