Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently shared his thoughts on love and romance. Known for his roles in films like Lagaan and Dangal, the actor, while speaking at the trailer launch of Loveyapa, described himself as an extreme romantic and took inspiration from his experiences with his two ex-wives to explain what love means to him.
Aamir, who was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, described love as an intense and complex emotion. During the trailer launch of his son Junaid Khan’s film, the actor admitted that he believes in true love.
He said, “I am a very romantic man, mother I swear. Sounds like a lot of fun, but ask my two wives..” (I am very romantic; this may sound strange, but please ask both my wives, referring to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.)”
Opening up about his personal life, Aamir revealed that, despite their marriages ending, he has great respect and affection for both Reena and Kiran. He said, “True love really happens when you learn to love yourself, value yourself, and feel ready to care about someone else’s heart.”
Loveyappa starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor marks the dramatic debut of both the star kids. Directed by Advait Chandan, this unique romantic-comedy drama is set to release in theaters on February 7.
