The 2001 film Lagaan remains one of the most famous films in Aamir Khan’s filmography. However, during the shooting, Aamir made several arguments with director Ashutosh Gowariker on the film “Logic Ki Karman”. The actor could not understand why there was a clean eye in a story in his character that revolted around the lack of water.
“Where was he getting water to shave?” Aamir asked Ashutosh. However, the filmmaker urged him to ignore the argument and worry about such details.
Recently in an interview with a lot of film, Aamir said, “I had big quarrels with Ashutosh. I told him that the entire basis of the film is that there is no water. How is it possible that he is shaving every day? His fellow villagers would have beaten him.”

But Ashutosh wanted Aamir to look good in the film. The director told the actor, “I want you to look good. I like how you are watching, and this is how you will see in the film. I don’t want to go in its logic.”
Eventually, Aamir gave. “Finally, I gave, but I was very upset. I found a way around it. I will shave at night and show to set with a shadow. In those days when I forgot to shave at night, I will be very angry with myself … But maybe it was all in my mind, I don’t know that the audience too.”
On June 15, 2001, Lagaan was a big hit and a milestone remains in Hindi cinema. However, despite scoring enrollment in the best foreign language film category, it missed winning the Oscars.
