Aaaal day 1 india box office: The much awaited Punjabi film Ukala has been released in theaters today. This period, set in the 1840s, depicts the bravery of action-drama, Sikh warriors. The film is directed and Gippy Grewal is directed in the lead. It also includes Nikitin Dher, Apinderdeep Singh and Nimrat Khaira in the lead roles. Today’s early days, the film had a start of only Rs 2 crore Bharat Net.

Period action drama Punjabi film Ukala was released in Punjabi and Hindi today by Gippy Grewal. As the film is supported by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, it also ensured a Hindi-dab release for the film. The film barely campaigned for its Hindi version without any popular face and no proper and effective marketing. Although the Hindi version was not expected to perform well, the film has also shown a disappointing day 1 trend for its Punjabi release.
Acul has opened Rs 75 lakh at the box office with a net of India. While the content of the film resonates with the grassroots viewers of Punjab, Business expected that Gippy Grewal starrer performed much better at the box office. As Gippy Grewal is already a big name among the audience of Punjab, his marked price contributed to the initial crowd of the film for the day.
Acoul has received a major mixed reviews from the audience. Only if the Word of Mouth comes in its favor, it can probably give rise to the growing demand of the film at the box office. After its initial weekend, the public reception of the film will decide its fate at the box office. With such low early numbers, Aaaal can only expect to get closer to success.
