Like his cousin in the Galaxy Z family, the new Galaxy Watch 8 series introduced a new version of Samsung’s Bispok Interface – One UI 8 Watch. This same software is now rolling for Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra Owners and brings new training and health facilities, plus UI refinement that provides more a-glass information on the watch-shaped performance.
The major equipment for this is multi-info tiles. They are optimized, so you can choose the data that is most relevant to you – you can choose anything from weather information to health matrix. Now the bar, which you can get acquainted with the Galaxy phone, displays a camera controller, media controller, stopwatch and timer and so on (you can customize it with a fellow app).
Talking about health matrix, the clock can now calculate your vascular load and measure your antioxidant index. Vascular load measures stress on your communication system during sleep. The antioxidant index measures carotenoids stored in your skin (a type of antioxidant).
New features coming with a UI 8 watch in Galaxy Watch Ultra
Additionally, the Galaxy Watch Ultra Gains Support for the new running coach. This can create a detailed running plan for you – a specific target – 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or full marathon. It begins with a 12 -minute test measuring your ongoing performance. You can read more about new features here.
During the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this month, Samsung refreshed the Galaxy Watch Ultra with a new titanium blue color option and doubled the storage to 64GB. This new version is being launched globally this week, but it is a slight improvement on the original 2024 watch (this is not “Ultra 2”).
Anyway, a UI 8 watch will also be released for old models. Last week, for example, we saw the Beta Build report for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro.
