Moto G85 5G

Launched in July, the Moto G85 5G comes with many great features at an affordable price. Launched at Rs 17,999, the smartphone has a slim design, curved-poled display, great camera specs, and long battery life. All these features are very difficult to find in a phone priced under Rs 20,000, especially all these features together in one phone. It seems that Motorola has taken some of the best features from its flagship Moto Edge series and included them in the Moto G85 5G. Overall, the smartphone exceeds expectations. You can read our detailed review of the Moto G85 5G here. Now, with the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, Motorola is expected to launch the device in a new look. According to 91mobiles, the Moto G85 5G will soon be available in dark green color during the sale.

At the launch, the company launched the Moto G85 in three colour options: Olive Green, Urban Grey, and Cobalt Blue. Now, with a new variant, the smartphone will be available in four colours. The new green shade is rumoured to be darker than the existing Olive Green colour. The official name of the variant is unknown. However, rumour has it that it will be revealed during the Flipkart sale.

The Flipkart Big Billion Days sale will begin from September 26 for Plus subscribers and from September 27 for all users. The e-commerce website has already revealed deals on Motorola smartphones. During the sale, you can buy the Moto G85 5G at an effective price of Rs 15,999. But before you place an order, here are the specs and features it has to offer.

Moto G85 5G: Specifications and Features

The Moto G85 5G has a slim and light design. The Moto G85 weighs 172 grams and is 7.5mm thick. It also has a vegan leather back panel. The rear panel also has a dual-camera setup along with a small flashlight. The cameras are placed on a slightly elevated rectangular island, which also has the same leather finish.

The device features a 6.7-inch pOLED curved-display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a peak brightness of 1600nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The most striking feature of the device is its curved display, which is similar to the high-end Moto Edge series. The curved display makes the already thin bezels of the phone almost invisible.

The Moto G85 has a Snapdragon 6 Gen3 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 14 and comes with 2 years of OS upgrades. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

It features a rear dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Along with this, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, which is perfect for capturing detailed landscapes or group shots. The front camera is a 32-megapixel shooter, which promises high-quality self-portraits and video calls.
