In a special interview with Indiayatoday.in, veteran actor Anupam Kher supported the government and the armed forces after the top Lashkar commander behind the Pahgam attack, which ended in Operation Mahadev.

Anupam Kher congratulated the Indian Armed Forces for the success of Operation Mahadev in Srinagar, in which terrorists were abolished, including the mastermind behind the Pahalgam attack. In an interview with Indianody.inThe experienced actor praised the Narendra Modi-led BJP government, “a government that works.”
“I congratulate the government for ending criminals who killed our 26 citizens cruelly. I think it is important to do this work, and it is a government that works. It takes time … It takes time … such things are not overnight, especially when intelligence is involved and some are always involved,” Kher said in the interview.
Kher, who is currently launching his new book called ‘Different but No Kam’, also appreciated the Indian Armed Forces for his resolve and courage. “This needs to happen and it has happened. I am proud of our armed forces. If we do not have such armed forces, if we cannot avenge the killing of our innocent people – on the basis of their religion, in front of their wives – in front of their wives – what can be more cruel than this? It’s good, and I am proud of them,” Kher said.
Operation Mahadev: A strategic strike
On Monday, the Indian Army launched a high -level anti -terrorism operation operation Mahadev in Srinagar, in coordination with J&K Police and CRPF. The Mission followed Operation Sindoor, which included an accurate attack on the hideout of terror in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir.
During the operation, Lashkar-e-Taiba (Late) and top commander Hashim Musa, the top commander of the leading conspirator, were neutralized by the forces on 22 April.
Addressing the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed that all three terrorists were abolished at Monday’s Operation Mahadev. He also revealed that he was a person responsible for the attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, where 26 were killed.
Shah said that the government had decisive evidence connecting terrorists from Pakistan. He said that two terrorists had Pakistani voter identity number, and even the chocolate recovered from them were manufactured in Pakistan.
