The day after the United States suspended the supply of military aid to Kiev, Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski on Tuesday proposed a possible peace plan to end the war with Russia, stating that he was ready to work “creatively” under US President Donald Trump’s “strong leadership”. In an extraordinary change, Zelancesi also indicated that he was ready to sign a deal that provides access to mineral funds of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian leader traveled to Washington on Friday to sign the deal, but was caught after a controversial oval office meeting between Trump and Zelanski, resulting in a subsequent departure from the White House.
On Tuesday, Zelansky said he was “ready to come to the conversation table as soon as possible”, the Oval Office Meeting is called “regret”.
I would like to repeat the commitment to the peace of Ukraine.
None of us wants endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the conversation table at the earliest, which as soon as possible to bring close to permanent peace. Nobody wants more peace than Ukrainian. My team and I am ready to work …

Zelansky said in his post on X, “In Washington, our meeting in the White House on Friday did not go the way it should have been.”
He said, “Ukraine is ready to come to the conversation table as soon as possible, which is soon to bring closer to permanent peace,” he said.
But Ukrainian consent comments decrease with the Groved waiver demanded by the White House. The US President has accused Zelancesi of insult, and Trump’s colleagues claimed that the Ukrainian leader insisted on the line by insisting on the peace deal coming up with a security guarantee.
It was not clear whether the deal had changed since last Friday. The deal that was to be signed last week had no clear safety guarantee for Ukraine, but provided access to revenue from Ukraine’s natural resources. It also envisaged the Ukrainian government to contribute 50 percent to the future demonetisation of any state-owned natural resources in the US-Ukraine Managed Reconstruction Investment Fund.
The olive branch from Ukraine came after Trump on Monday that his administration was open to sign the deal, telling reporters in a gagel that Ukraine should “be more commendable.”
“This country is stuck with them through thick and thin,” said Trump. “We have given them much more than Europe, and Europe should have given more than us.”
In addition, Reuters said that the US President had told his advisors that he wanted to announce the agreement to the Congress on Tuesday evening in his address. However, the deal was not signed and the situation could change.
So far, neither the White House, nor the Ukraine’s Presidential Administration Kiev and the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, France, Britain and possibly other European countries have offered to send the peace army to Ukraine in a ceasefire position, but would like support from the US or “Backstop”. Moscow has rejected the proposals for the peace army.
