In the Finale episode of the White Lotus season 3, he asks, ‘Is karma real?’
The ideas of karma, Destiny and Free Wills are detected in white lotus, especially in the closing episodes of the series. The show is currently available to stream on Jiohotstar.

The explosive closing of the Global-Favurite series ‘The White Lotus’ is one of the most entertaining anti-God arguments on the OTT. It also dissects and counts the karma theory in such a way that Albert becomes absurd like Camus, hoping that they were born as entertainment in the era of philosophy.

Before proceeding, a spiiler-focus. If you have not seen the last episode of the third season of ‘The White Lotus’, do not read further. But, if you have many millions of people in India, such as this morning and in America last evening, then it would not be a bad idea to reflect their major topics, which are: which are:
The world is absurd.
Destiny (if the idea of pre-determined life exists) is unforgivable.
Life is a series of random events that lead to unexpected results.
There is no reward/punishment for karma because no one is doing justice to you.
Enjoy whatever you have, because it is a sin that it is not the other’s dream.
There is no resolve for life questions.
So, how can these conclusions be drawn after completion? Well, without completely spoiling the fun, at least it is discovered that the best person dies in the chain; A sociable (and impressive) people are almost killed. And real miscreants and S ** Tibags fly in the sunset, moving around a turquoise sea. Slow clap for those who thought that karma is a bitch and would catch with some characters in the series.
Because, according to Mark White, the creator of the series, there is no good or bad karma. He only believes in Amor Fati – the title of the final episode. As Chelsea (Amy Lu Wood), the only character with a moral compass explains: “You have to embrace your fate – whatever will happen.” She predicts that this Amor Fati is not based on your own karma. When your life is connected to someone else, what happens to them.
“We are all connected – there are different groups that we know and people we do not know. And these people are working together to complete this divine plan,” she says at a point in the show.
The irony is that the idea of a divine plan is one of Oxymorone in the context of ‘The White Lotus’. Many atheists have argued that the idea of a divinity – one God – is flawed to interfere in our life – there is no such institution. This world is a forest, and we are here on our own, trying to find the meaning of our own survival, without part of some big plan.

The series gives the idea of at least one ‘non-interventionist’ God. Through their eight episodes, people get away from murder, adultery, robbery, blackmail, headonism and all the original sins against which we have been warned. Instead, they are punished only for Pekdilo -Habris, the grain decisions and fleeting anger. If this is not enough, they kill humanity for a lot of symptoms -Milty, love and desire to help others.
The series of Mark White, thus, has argued by many nihilists and absurd people, a great confirmation: Life is just a random sequence of events, and these events rarely result in our hands. And, as Camus said, the only way to deal with this non -equality is to find your meaning in it. Or, to cite the title of another famous series, the purpose of life is to make it the best when it gives you tangerne.
And, so they do in ‘The White Lotus’. A woman settles for blood money after an initial denying that sounds like a bad outbreak of discretion, but it is not. Finally, she accepts the deal when the bet is taken, again proves that everything can be purchased in this world, you just have to find the right price for it. As the son of this woman, who really sealed the seal for forced recovery, explains: “I care that I am a business-the line of the lines.”
Conversely, another character forgives someone else, without increasing the price. He makes it purely out of mercy and sympathy. So, there is no template for humans.
Finally, ‘The White Lotus’ answers the questions of existence in a way that gives smack to their respective philosophy. It celebrates friendship, it enhances the qualities of the family – but also warns of shared fate due to such affiliation. And, sometimes this fate can be cruel.
If you are really looking for some real takeaets from White’s philosophy, then there are two here.
In a scene, a mother has advised her daughter, who has just realized that the physical world is more attractive than spiritual, that we should count our blessings – “No one has been better than us in the history of the world – not even old kings and queens. We cannot miss it.
At the beginning of the closing, a Buddhist monk says: “Sometimes we wake up with anxiety, a pointed energy. What will happen today? What is for me? We want to answer the earth under our feet. So we take life in our hands-we are temporary in the end, we accept a quickly. Sankalp.”
In other words: Karma does not guarantee resolution. And, there is no one that you are ready to reward or punish for it. Therefore, embrace the randomness and non -equality of life.
