Tips for the Perfect Crispy Chili Garlic Oil:
- Choose the right chili flakes: For a milder flavor, use a mixture of dried red pepper flakes and chili powder. For a more spicy oil, choose pure chili flakes.
- Neutral oil: Using a neutral oil, such as vegetable oil or canola oil, will help prevent the oil from overpowering the flavor of the spices.
- Storage: Keep the oil in a cool, dark place. It can be stored for several months.
- Adjust the taste: If you prefer a sweeter oil, add more sugar. For a more salty taste, add a little more salt.
