Add black pepper and a bay leaf and roast for a minute or two. Next, add dried red chillies – both hot and Kashmiri. When everything is roasted well, add asafoetida and turn off the flame. Let it cool, then grind it to a smooth powder. Meanwhile, put the mint leaves in the microwave for a while, let them cool and grind them with your fingers to make a powder. Mix the ground masala with regular salt and black salt. Your delicious raita masala is ready!
