Gaudium IVF raised an anchor round ahead of the IPO opening tomorrow at Rs. 49 crores have been collected. Check out the main investors

Gaudium IVF and Women’s Health has invested its Rs. 165 crore before the launch of the IPO from anchor investors of Rs. 49.5 crore has been raised, which has been allocated to the upper end of the price band in the final form. The board of the company decided to pay Rs. 74 including premium to four anchor investors of Rs. 79 allowed the allotment of 62.65 lakh shares.

Meru Investment Fund PCC – Sale 1 received 21.51 lakh shares, accounting for 34.34% of the anchor stake, with an allocation of Rs. 16.99 crores. Sanshi Fund I was allotted 15.82 lakh shares or 25.25% of the anchor book, at Rs. 12.5 crores translates into.

Hornbill Orchid India Fund acquired 12.66 lakh shares, 20.21% of the anchor allocation and Rs. 10 crore investment. Carnelian India Multi Strategy Fund was allotted 12.65 lakh shares, amounting to 20.2% of the anchor portion and valued at Rs. 10 crores.

The anchor placement comes a day before the public issue opens for subscription on February 20 and closes on February 24. The price band for the IPO is Rs. 75 to Rs. 79 per share has been fixed.

Gaudium IVF’s IPO raised Rs. 90 crore fresh issue and Rs. 75 crore is a combination of the offer for sale of 94,93,700 shares, bringing the total issue size to Rs. 165 crores.

The net proceeds from the fresh issue are proposed to be used primarily for expansion and debt reduction. Around Rs. 50 crore will be deployed for setting up new IVF centres, while Rs. 20 crore will be spent on repayment or pre-payment of certain outstanding loans. The balance will be used for general corporate purposes.

Retail investors can apply for a minimum of 189 shares, with an upper price band of Rs. 14,931 investment required. The issue structure provides that not more than 50% of the net issue will be allotted to qualified institutional buyers, not less than 35% to retail investors and not less than 15% to non-institutional investors.

Gaudium IVF and Women’s Health Ltd operates in the assisted reproductive technology segment, offering services such as IVF, ICSI, IUI and ovulation induction, as well as gynecological care and high-risk pregnancy management. The company follows a hub-and-spoke model and currently operates over 30 locations across India, including seven hub centers and 28 spokes.

Financially, Gaudium IVF has recorded steady growth. For the year ended March 2025, the company posted Rs. 70.96 crore gross revenue and Rs. 19.13 crore in profit after tax was reported.
