The sudden death of actor Shefali Jariwala on 27 June shook the entertainment industry. Amid growing concern, actor and television hosts Mini Mathur weighed at the immediate need for professional guidance for health and beauty processes.
Talking to Vicky Lalwani on his YouTube channel, Mathur emphasized the importance of medical overseas. “Everything you take should be under any type of medical supervision. There is no one doctor who knows what kind of reactions will be there, and it can have a negative effect on you,” he said, urged people not to take their health in search of aesthetics.
Mathur also pointed to intensive pressure public figures to maintain young appearances, often motivated them to resort to quick reforms. He said, “This is not a glamorous conversation, but people need to publicly talk about these issues so that the level of awareness increases,” he said, “calls for more open, responsible dialogues within the industry.
Sharing his own attitude, Mathur revealed additional precautions. “I check and do double check if any needle entering my body has taken out of a seal package. I am crazy about all this. A lot of things can be wrong.” His words underline how important safety and vigilance is when regularly undergoes aesthetic treatment.
While reports show that Jariwala took a vitamin C IV drip on the day of his death – a common practice in the industry – Mathur avoided conclusions about the case. “I am not eligible to talk about this,” he said, accepting that such supplements and remedies have become widespread.
Actors Parag Tyagi and Sheffly Jariwala were married in 2014. Later died on 27 June, allegedly due to cardiac arrest. However, an official statement of the Mumbai Police is still waiting to find out the cause behind his death.
