Enjoying the success of his recent release Bad Newz, Kaushal took a moment to reflect on his journey and express gratitude as he celebrates the 9th anniversary of Masaan.

Taking to Instagram, the Uri actor shared a still from his debut film Masaan. In the picture, Kaushal is dressed in a simple undershirt and styled like a typical village boy, he is seen in a contemplative pose with his eyes closed and head tilted towards the sky against the backdrop of a bridge and river. The actor recently spoke about bringing his character to life and how he delivered the memorable dialogue “Yeh dukh kahe nahin khatam hota” in Masaan. Recalling this moment in the first episode of Be A Man Yaar, Kaushal revealed that he spent an hour on the banks of the Ganga and imagined that he had lost his mother.
He imagined that upon returning from the shoot, he would find out that his mother had passed away and that people would have hidden this from him to avoid disturbing the work on his debut film. He imagined a whole situation in which it had been 20 days since his mother had died and no one had informed him about it, leaving him with nothing.
On Vicky Kaushal’s work front
Meanwhile, on the work front, the Dunki actor’s future projects include Laxman Utekar’s film Chava, which he has just finished shooting for. He has been keeping his fans entertained by posting behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets.
Apart from this, Kaushal will be seen sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love and War.
