Celebrating achievements in Indian cinema, the 71st National Film Awards ceremony announced its winners in New Delhi today. The event, which recognizes outstanding contribution to various categories such as acting, direction, music and production, was held at the National Media Center.

This year’s best actor Acclade was jointly honored for his performance in ‘Jawan’ and Vikrant Massey for ’12th failure’. Rani Mukherjee received the Best Actress Award for her role in ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’. The best film award in the Hindi category was given to ‘Kathal’.
