This is one of the reasons that Udupi is considered vegetarianly vegetarian. Udupi is known for his Sri Krishna temple and the Pak Treasury of the city, about a distance of about an hour from Mangaluru and with a coastal road to Goa. However, they are not all vegetarian.
7 In Udupi and around it should try to try Pak experiences:
1. Annaprasad in Udupi Sri Krishna Temple
Udupi food is often called the ‘food of the gods’. Some famous Udupi restaurants from Chennai and Bangalore were started by cooks who worked in the sattvik kitchen of the temple. The temple provides free food to the devotees (at specific time for lunch and dinner). This delicious temple is served on food banana leaves and includes South Indian staples such as sambar, rice and rasam.

Their masala dosa is a safe condition, but try their banana buns, a puffy version of a poor with a subtle sweetness mixed with bananas with bananas. We would also advise that his Rava Kesari (Sheera) has all this to wash Udupi’s most entertaining cup filter coffee.

6. Thumbulum

Corey bread in thumblam
A great performance for non-vegetarian dishes of Udupi in an elegant setting. One of our favorite is a blank roti, a platform of crunchy wafers made with rice flour, once immersed them with chicken curry. Try AT chutney, which irritate, which makes a luxurious food compatible and traditional udupi bread and staples, such as a cylindrical version of mood – idli. Regularly is the oath of Don Biryani’s Thumblam version.

Located close to the Shri Krishna temple, the Mitra Samaj is one of the most famous food institutions in the city. This minor restaurant is one of our favorite breakfast places in Udupi. It is also one of the best places in Udupi that examines the tablet at tiffin time. It combines panoramic deeply fried snack maida (dough), rice flour and curd with a flattery of green chillies and ginger.
