Here are 5 new Mumbai restaurants and bars worth trying in September-October 2024:
1. Bombay Dock, Bandra
Bombay Daak is the latest venture from celebrated chefs Niyati Rao and Sagar Neve. At this new bar, the duo behind the award-winning Eka serves up “Daru” and “Chakna” that are a tribute to India’s rich drinking culture. The tasting menu experience allows diners to engage with the team in an open kitchen setting, while the a la carte menu features hyper-local cocktails. Each small plate and drink has been curated after a year of intensive research across the country. Furthermore, the intimate thirty-seater space aims to capture the mood of a pre-colonial Indian bar with dark wooden interiors, hand-painted botanical tiles, lamps restored from the old Bombay British whisky bar, and other thoughtful touches.
