Bombay Talkies, an anthology film, was released in 2013. It consisted of four segments in the form of short films directed by filmmakers such as Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar.
One of them featured Amitabh Bachchan playing himself. Big B made a special appearance in the Kashyap segment titled Murabba. It starred Vineet Kumar Singh as Vijay, who travels from Allahabad to Mumbai to fulfill his father’s last wish.
