Apple participated in the shipment of iPhones in the United States in late March using five aircraft to defeat the deadline for the new American tariffs, allegedly defeating the deadline for the new American tariffs. According to a report by the Times of India, the operation performed in just three days was aimed at avoiding 10 percent mutual duty imposed by the Trump administration by the Trump administration.

Tech veteran is said to be taken from his manufacturing centers in India and China before the new tariff regime. While this time of the year is usually slow for product movement, Apple’s sudden logistics push light up the urgency of the state. In the US, warehouses are now stocked with equipment expected to last several months.

A senior Indian official confirmed a large -scale movement and suggested that Apple was aimed at reducing immediate cost pressure, as new duties would increase import expenses for future shipments. By sending the products before kicking the new tariff, Apple can continue selling at current prices, least temporarily.

Although the company has no current plan to increase retail prices in India or other major markets, the official said the company would have to consider the increase in prices in major global areas to offset the impact of the new tariff. The report further claims that Apple is analyzing how long it can absorb additional costs without passing consumers, especially in the US where price sensitivity can affect sales.

In addition, so far, only 10 percent tariff has been implemented only the base line. More tariffs than this will roll out on 9 April under the tariff framework of the same trump-era. With high fees, Apple is likely to re -evaluate its long -term manufacturing roadmap.

India can play a big role in that innings. Apple already creates many iPhone models and airpods in the country, and exports have increased continuously in recent years. Under the new policy, 54 percent of tariffs facing sugar exports, Indian goods will be taxed at a low rate of 26 percent. This 28-point difference can make Indian production more economically viable.

Apple is already one of the top contributors in India’s smartphone exports, a large part of the country’s shipment of about $ 9 billion in the US. Analysts say the widening tariff difference between China and India may give speed to Apple’s plans to diversify its supply chain and reduce dependence on China.

Meanwhile, a Wall Street Journal report also mentions that the US may increase the iPhone from India as it reduces the effect of increasing tariffs. For Apple, maintaining stable prices without damaging margins may be very dependent on how fast it can increase production in tariff-family places like India.
